Terms of Service

Last updated 11 September 2026

These Terms of Service (hereafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern your use of the “Lineup” application (hereafter referred to as the “Application”) for mobile devices, created by Kingsley Szeto (hereafter referred to as the “Service Provider”). By creating an account or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

For the Privacy Policy, please see thelineup.app/privacy.

I. The Service

The Application allows you to record events you intend to attend, rate events and venues you have attended, and share that activity with users you have connected with.

The Application is not a ticket seller, marketplace, or agent. It does not sell, resell, transfer, reserve, or hold tickets, and it does not process payments of any kind.

Links from the Application to ticket sellers may in future be commission-bearing: the Service Provider may earn a referral fee where a ticket is purchased after following one. This does not affect the price you pay, and does not make the Service Provider a party to that purchase — your transaction is with the seller, on their terms.

The Application is currently provided free of charge and contains no advertising. The Service Provider intends to introduce advertising, and may introduce paid features, in a future release. Where paid features are introduced, their price and terms will be disclosed before purchase, payment will be processed by Apple, and existing functionality available to you at that time will not be placed behind payment retrospectively. Where advertising is introduced, it is subject to Section IV of the Privacy Policy.

II. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Application.

An account is required, and is created exclusively through Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Apple ID associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You must select a display name and username that you have the right to use. You may not impersonate any person or organization, or select identifiers designed to mislead.

III. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Application to:

The Service Provider may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this Section.

IV. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create within the Application, including your ratings, notes, profile information, and the record of events you have added.

You grant the Service Provider a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Application and presenting your content back to you and, where the Application provides for it, to users you have connected with. The Service Provider claims no ownership of your content, does not use it to train machine-learning systems, and does not license or sell it to third parties.

V. Event Information

Event, artist, and venue information is supplied by Ticketmaster’s public event API. The Service Provider does not control this information and makes no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, or currency. Event times, dates, venues, presales, and on-sale windows are subject to change, and listings may contain errors or omissions.

You should confirm all event details with the venue or an official ticket seller before making arrangements or purchasing tickets. The Application is a record-keeping tool and is not a source of authoritative event information.

VI. Availability and Changes to the Service

The Application is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Service Provider may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Application, or any part of it, at any time. Where the Application is to be discontinued entirely, reasonable notice will be provided so that you may retrieve or delete your information.

VII. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Application is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application, including without limitation missed events, unavailable tickets, or reliance on event information supplied by third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

VIII. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from within the Application, as described in Section III of the Privacy Policy. The Service Provider may suspend or terminate access to accounts that breach these Terms.

Provisions which by their nature should survive termination, including Sections IV, VII, and IX, shall survive.

IX. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of these Terms will be revised when they are, and continued use of the Application after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The most current version will always be available here.
