Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 September 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the “Lineup” application (hereafter referred to as the “Application”) for mobile devices, created by Kingsley Szeto (hereafter referred to as the “Service Provider”).

For the Terms of Service, please see thelineup.app/terms.

I. Information Collection and Use

The Application requires an account. Accounts are created exclusively through Sign in with Apple; the Application does not offer, accept, or store passwords.

The Service Provider collects and stores the following information, all of which is associated with your account:

This information is used solely to operate the Application’s functionality. It is not sold, rented, licensed, or disclosed for advertising purposes.

The Application does not contain analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking software of any kind, and does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, or camera. Searches you perform within the Application are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to or retained by the Service Provider.

II. Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own privacy policies regarding the handling of data. Below are links to the privacy policies of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

Apple
Apple provides authentication through Sign in with Apple and may collect data about your use of their products. You can learn more about their policies by visiting https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

Supabase
Supabase provides the database and authentication infrastructure on which account data is stored, and processes that data on behalf of the Service Provider. You can learn more about their policies by visiting https://supabase.com/privacy.

Ticketmaster
Ticketmaster provides event, artist, and venue information through its public event API. When you search for an event, the text of your search is transmitted to Ticketmaster in order to return results. Your identity is not transmitted with it; Ticketmaster receives the search text but not the identity of the person searching. You can learn more about their policies by visiting https://privacy.ticketmaster.com.

III. Data Retention and Deletion

Information associated with your account is retained for as long as the account exists.

You may delete your account at any time from within the Application, under Settings, which is reached using the gear icon on the You tab. Account deletion is also available before account setup is completed.

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, the events you recorded, your ratings and notes, and your connections to other users. It additionally revokes the Application’s Sign in with Apple credential, removing the Application from your Apple ID settings. This action cannot be undone.

Event, artist, and venue records are not deleted, as they are shared catalog information that other users may be attending; such records are no longer associated with you. Backups maintained for operational purposes expire on their own schedule.

IV. Planned Functionality

The following functionality is planned but not yet present. It is described here so that the direction of the Application is known at the point you create an account, rather than introduced later without notice. Nothing in this Section is collected today, and Section I above describes the Application as it currently operates.

Profile photographs. The Application does not currently request access to your photographs and stores none. Should this change, your permission will be requested by iOS before any photograph is accessed.

Advertising. The Service Provider intends to introduce advertising in a future release. The Application contains no advertising or tracking software at present, and none of the information described in Section I is used for advertising purposes. Should advertising be introduced, any third-party advertising provider will be named in Section II together with a link to its own privacy policy, and where that provider tracks you across applications or websites owned by other companies, iOS will request your permission through App Tracking Transparency before any such tracking occurs. Declining that request does not restrict your use of the Application.

Ticket links. Links from the Application to ticket sellers may in future be commission-bearing, meaning the Service Provider earns a referral fee if you buy a ticket after following one. This does not change the price you pay. Following such a link takes you to that seller’s own website, where their privacy policy applies rather than this one, and the Service Provider does not pass your account information to them.

Paid features. The Application is currently provided free of charge and processes no payments. Should paid features be introduced, payment would be processed by Apple, and the Service Provider would not receive or store your payment card, bank, or billing details.

In each case this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the information actually collected before the functionality is made available to you.

V. Children’s Privacy

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the event that such information is discovered, it will be deleted promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that a child has provided such information, please contact the Service Provider so that it may be removed.

VI. Data Security

The Service Provider is concerned with safeguarding the confidentiality of your information, and applies physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained. Access to account data is restricted by database-level authorization rules. Please be aware, however, that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

VII. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. Where a change materially affects the information collected or the parties with whom it is shared, the date at the top of this Policy will be revised before the change takes effect, and the change will be noted in the Application’s release notes. Where a change involves access to information the Application does not currently use — such as your photographs, or tracking across other companies’ applications and websites — iOS will separately request your permission before that access occurs. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy. The most current version will always be available here.

VIII. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. The Application provides access to your information directly, allows your profile to be corrected at any time under Settings, and provides deletion as described in Section III.

For any request not satisfied by those controls, including a copy of your information in a portable format, contact the Service Provider at lineup@kingsleyszeto.me.

IX. Contact Us

If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the Application, or about these practices, please contact the Service Provider at lineup@kingsleyszeto.me.
